A Few Days in Kauai

Monday through Wednesday Moriah and I joined Chris on a work trip he had to Kauai. We had a good time and enjoyed the change of pace and new scenery. It was like Moriah knew we were on a trip and were suppose to be having fun, and she responded accordingly. Each day she was filled with such joy and just soaked up the experience. Of course she loved that we were on the go, around people, and outside a lot--all her favorite things.

While we were gone she discovered the joy of ketchup. She really doesn't like potatoes and hasn't really gotten into french fries that much. But one day for lunch we let her dip her own french fry in ketchup. She loved it and basically made a meal of ketchup. She would dip the fry in ketchup, lick it off, and repeat the process until the french fry got soggy. At that point she would exchange the soggy french fry for a fresh one and begin the dipping/licking routine over again. She was having so much fun, we had to let her enjoy the experience.
