MADALYN RUTH WOODALL

Her hand by her face--we got to see all fingers and toes

Her leg

Smiling at her mommy, daddy, and big sister

A profile of her whole body
We had a wonderful time at our ultrasound appointment today. We were thankful to get a good view of our new little baby girl. I cried the first time we saw Moriah on the ultrasound, and this time proved to be no different. It is just an amazing experience to get this sneak peak at the little life growing inside your body. Everything looked good, and she already weighs in at about 9 ounces.
One sweet story--Chris, Moriah and I all went to the appointment. Moriah does not like visiting her doctor at all, and the minute the nurse or doctor tries to touch her she begins crying and just gets so scared and hysterical. Well, today when the nurse started putting the thing they use to look at the baby on my tummy, Moriah instantly began whimpering. It quickly turned into the same loud, scared crying she does when she goes to the doctor. Despite the fact that Chris was holding her, I was smiling and talking calmly to her, and even holding her hand, she was still getting scared for her mommy having to be at the doctor. Although it was so sad to see her crying, it was so sweet to see her crying on her mommy's behalf. After a few minutes she calmed down and realized all was okay; by the end she was even laughing and looking at her new sister on the screen. Precious moments!
