Matching Slippers

Chris loves to wear the local brand of slippers (flip flops) called "Locals" and has been waiting anxiously for Moriah to be able to wear them too. So far all her slippers have had straps on the back that hold her feet in. But last week Chris decided the time for Moriah to have her own pair of "Locals" had arrived. Just to make the occasion all the more special, daddy decided to buy yet another pair to match Moriahs. Oh my; she absolutely LOVES her "Locals." If daddy has on his, Moriah must have on hers. She sits them by the door and just waits for daddy to get home so they can put them on together. She quickly learned how to put them on herself, hold them on her feet, and even make sure she got them on the right feet. In fact, the first couple of nights she had to sleep with them by her bed just in case she needed to put them on. It is so fun to see what simple things bring children such delight.
