With only a few more weeks left in Hawaii (we leave Sept 28), the goodbyes have definitely started. And we still have many more to go. We have been so blessed the 3 years we have lived here. What joys and memories.
A fellowship and prayer gathering at a friend's house. James and Julie
pastored the church we first attended when moving to Hawaii and have been good friends our whole time here.

The mom's group I have been involved in at our church had a tea party for our last time of fellowship before we move. It was SO fun. I love tea parties. Thanks Barb for hosting us.
Moriah saying bye to Mrs. Nancy, one of her Sunday School teachers. During the chaos of moving, Mrs. Nancy volunteered to watch
Moriah for a whole day so Chris and I could get some serious work done. It is amazing how much more you can get done with one child (a 7 month old at that) compared to two children. Mrs. Nancy and
Moriah had so much fun; they got to go to the park, swimming, and so much more.

As mentioned above, I LOVE tea parties. Our friends and boss,
Veryl and Cheryl, treated us to high tea at the
Moana Surfrider on Friday. It was am amazing treat. We felt spoiled and so enjoyed one more relaxing time of fellowship with them.

And goodbye to our home of the last 2 years--1511
Nuuanu. The last week of August we moved out of our apartment and into a temporary place for our final month. It was total chaos trying to sell everything, take the few (but still too many) treasures we want to take with us to the temporary place, clean, and get "home" set up for the girls. Thankfully Chris took off work the whole week and friends helped with the girls a few days or we never could have done it. The season of transition has definitely started.
